Light stains
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap first. For stubborn marks like haldi or tea, use a mild kitchen cleaner and a soft sponge, then rinse and dry. Avoid strong acids, paint removers and steel scrubbers.
Light scratches
On a matte finish, a very fine scouring pad with a little cleaner and a circular motion can blend a light scratch. Test on a hidden spot first. On a glossy finish, hand sanding can leave marks, so ask a professional.
Burns, chips and cracks
A burn mark from a diya or a hot pan, a chipped edge or a crack needs sanding, filling or bonding. This is best left to a fabricator, so the repair blends in and the surface stays even.
