How to clean and care for a Corian mandir

Everyday cleaning

Wipe with a soft damp cloth and a little mild soap. Dry with a clean cloth. Do this once a week or whenever there is spilled ghee or kumkum.

Stubborn marks

For haldi or oil, use a mild kitchen cleaner and a soft sponge. Rinse and dry. Avoid harsh chemicals, strong acids and steel scrubbers, because they can dull the finish.

Diya and agarbatti

Keep the diya on a brass or steel plate with a few inches between it and carved panels. Soot wipes off Corian, but a flame close to the surface can leave a mark.

Scratches

Light scratches can usually be sanded and buffed out on site. Message us a photo and we will tell you if it can be fixed.
